Dental treatments and services provided at Meadows Gate Dental include: periodontal work to treat gum disease; pediatric dentistry; cosmetic dentistry; advanced cosmetic treatments; oral cleaning, whitening and prevention services; partial and full dentures; dental implants; restorative dentistry; orthodontics; endodontics (or root canal therapy); laser dentistry; and, when necessary, we can help you with dental emergencies.
Our dentists, Dr. Bakhshi and Dr. Hajipour, are well experienced at providing a range of services and treating children and adults from the Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody areas.
First Visit and Regular Check-ups:
In addition to cleaning and preventative treatments, such as fluoride treatment and
dental hygiene care by our registered dental hygienists, each initial visit to our office includes a full dental exam by either Dr. Maha Hajipour or Dr. Ali Bakhshi, and when necessary will also include x-rays. We are also capable of providing a Velscope® Oral Cancer Screening if the dental exam indicates a need for further assessment.

Please start by filling out the new patient form in order to help us properly diagnose your immediate dental concerns, review your past medical and dental history, and create a treatment plan that provides for your optimal dental health.

Your Dental Exam includes:
Dental Radiography or Dental Xray Examination of diagnostic x-rays (digital xrays): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, tartar build up and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Panoramic x-rays may be required.
Signs of Oral Cancer : An oral cancer screening includes checking the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for pre-cancerous or cancerous signs.
Treating Periodontal Disease : Check the gums and bone around the teeth for any signs of disease and necessity for treatment.
Examination of existing
dental restorations : Check current fillings, crowns and wear patterns for signs of wear, cracks and decay.
